Batter up! Come on and take a swing for the fences with us...

Okay folks, it's the bottom of the ninth inning, two outs and the Supersuckers are up to bat. We're down by a run and we need a hit to stay alive.

That's right, it's the final stretch before the new record hits the streets and I'm here to appeal to your better nature and ask you, if you haven't already done so, to please pre-order our new record, Get It Together!, before it comes out this Tuesday, November 25th!

We've sent the advance copies out to various writers and my wife personally mailed out the CD to hundreds of radio stations across the nation, so the word is out. And you can help spread the word as well by writing your own review and posting it on Amazon.com or iTunes or the message board here at supersuckers.com or sending it to your local paper or even to Rolling Stone once you get your hands on this piece of hot property. Please do it! It'll help so much.

We've sent out the posters to what record stores there are left in this country (there aren't too many of them still standing, unfortunately) so keep an eye out for a display or two in your area and make sure you shop there as well.

I know times are tough right now and it's increasingly hard to part with your hard earned dollar, but please do us a solid and go out and get this record on 11/25 or Pre-Order it here or at Amazon so we can prove all the doubters wrong!

If you're really jonesing for a little taste of the record, you can here a good deal of it on the front page of our website where you'll also hear samples of the radio station love we've gotten so far. It's a good listen - lots of fun to hear them say our name on the radio!

All that and we've still got our 20th anniversary show coming up at the end of the month in Seattle at the Showbox Theatre on Nov. 29th with our good friends Zeke and Green River, plus a special surprise guest as well. We will follow that show with a short 20th Anniversary Tour which will be your last chance to see us stateside for awhile as we will be taking our killer new show to Europe for a couple of months starting early next year.

So batter up! Come on and take a swing for the fences with us this month and get your hands on our new masterpiece, Get It Together! It's sure to be a hit in your world, I guarantee it...

Rawkously Yours,
Eddie Spaghetti

Ol' Dirty Bolton pleads to the public

Hey,

Ol' Dirty Bolton here. Our new CD is on it's way, and if I don't mind saying so myself.. "it kicks ASS!" I'm normally content standing to the side and letting Eddie do the blah, blah, blah, but I don't want any of you to miss out on this new CD. We're calling it Get It Together, and we really want to get a bunch of them pre-sold. ( You can be the 1st one on your block.) Plus, anyone who pre-orders through supersuckers.com gets entered to win an autographed Gibson Les Paul Gold Top, the Holy Grail of guitars.

Do it for the gold top, do it for me, do it for the bragging rights, do it to save your already doomed soul. But, do it mostly because it totally rocks, and so do you, our awesome fans.

Thanks for reading, and Thanks even more for your pre-purchase of the best Supersuckers CD to date.

You rock!

Hey, Rontrose Here!!

First of all I just want to thank all of you for being the most loyal, kick ass fans in the world. Without you, none of what we do would be possible. So here we are with a little over a month to go and I am urging you that if you haven't yet pre-ordered our new c.d. Get It Together, to please do so. Why you ask? Simple. It is the best record we have made to date. Also nothing is nicer to put in your loved ones stocking this holiday season than the new Supersuckers album. We are trying our best as a truly independent (RE: not indie, can someone explain that term to me?) rock and roll band to really create a buzz about the new release and we need your help to do it.

I also recently put together a new fan club release. It includes 2 songs from the new record so those of you that are in the fan club will get a little preview. Also included is some rare singles and a never released version of Mudhead that was recorded when we were the Black Supersuckers, with our dear friend and lead singer at the time, Eric Martin rocking the vox. He was truly something special.

We of course will be relentlessly touring the globe on this new release so look for us in your neck of the woods. Surely we will be close by at some point. We are pouring through our catalog in anticipation of our 20th anniversary show and plan to debut some hits from the past that we haven't played in a while and take those on tour as well as the allot of stuff from the new record. The 20th anniversary show will be filmed and recorded for a dvd release and will probably feature a couple special guests.

Thanks again for all of your support, we hope the next 20 years will be even better!

Rock on-
Rontrose

Mudhoney out, Green River in for our big anniversary show, Nov. 29th. Plus a few more surprises...

As we here in the Spaghetti household prepare to watch the Vice Presidential debate (Go Joe! Knock that woman down, will ya?) we can't help but think of how we're still proud to live in a country where debate is an active part of our electoral process. Debate is an essential and healthy part of life and should be encouraged at every turn, I think. Thus bringing us to our first topic of debate today: Is it a good thing that Mudhoney bailed out of our anniversary party? Some, myself included, say no, it's not such a good thing. We were really looking forward to rocking with our old friends once again and it was a real disappointment to have them cancel. While others, myself included, think yeah, it worked out kind of for the better, especially for Supersuckers fans who now will get to see a bigger, longer set by the Supersuckers AND the special treat of seeing a rare performance by local Seattle legends, Green River which features members of Mudhoney and Pearl Jam! So the debate rages on in my mind anyway and I'm just glad we got someone so special to fill in for the cancelled Mudhoney. And we hope that you will be too.

So that's the big news of the day - Mudhoney out, Green River in for our big anniversary show, Nov. 29th. Plus a few more surprises coming to the event as well.

Speaking of surprises... In order to help celebrate 20 years of active service in rock-n-roll we will be doing 20 auctions of special items from the archives and a percentage of the proceeds will go to the Free the West Memphis Three Defense Fund. So keep an eye out for that as there will sure to be some one of a kind items up for grabs and you won't want to miss an opportunity like this!

Speaking of opportunities... Pre orders are rapidly approaching the 1000 mark and while that's great and all, our goal is 5000 and it couldn't be any easier to help us make this dream a reality. All you have to do is click here, pre-order the new release, Get It Together, and wham! You're instantly entered to win a signed Supersuckers Gibson Les Paul Gold Top. This isn't one of those cheapo Epiphone knock-offs, this is the real-deal-Holyfield and is just another thing that makes us the Greatest.

So really people, get to pre-ordering this bad boy of ours - it won't dissapoint and just think of how awesome it would be to see the Supersuckers in the Billboard charts, even if it's only for a moment. Ah... I can see it now. The looks on our parents faces when we show them we did it. The congratulatory bottle of champagne... The rented limo... The red carpet going to...?

Ah, who am I kidding. We don't really care about all those things. We just wanna make a small dent in the charts, that's all. It would be a nice little feather in our Mid-Fi caps. So why not help a brother out? It'll be fun to have the record(s) you order show up at your doorstep the day it comes out and it'll be a fun listen to boot!

Keep rockin'

Supersuckers Announce New Album Details and More Tour Dates

Supersuckers have confirmed the long awaited, long overdue release of their brand new full-length album, Get It Together for November 25, 2008. This will be the tenth recording released by the band's self-owned label, Mid Fi Recordings. The November release date also coincides with the band's 20th Anniversary.

In addition to the audio CD, Get It Together will include a bonus DVD featuring 90 minutes of exclusive archival live footage featuring classic Supersuckers songs, as well as a few from the new album. The DVD was filmed during a Southern California performance in September 2007. Click here to check out the tracklist from the DVD.

Get It Together is the first full-length recording since Motherfuckers Be Trippin' in 2003. Since then, Supersuckers have released various live shows known as Supersuckers Field Recordings including a DVD, singles with Zeke, The Hangmen, Throw Rag and the Burden Brothers, as well as a singles / b-side collection entitled Devils Food and their last studio release entitled Paid. Coinciding with the band's 20th anniversary, a special performance on November 29, 2008 is slated at their hometown of Seattle's Showbox Theatre with Zeke.

Get It Together was recorded at Robert Lang Studio in Seattle with Billy Joe Bowers who recently engineered the upcoming AC/DC album. Singer Eddie Spaghetti explains, "The songs sound so good, so incredibly tight that even we are amazed by our accomplishment. Pride mixes with astonishment as we listen back to this masterpiece! Get It Together features 12 solid new slabs of the hard-hitting Supersuckers sound and is chock full of the kind of quality you've come to expect from the band as well as a few new looks into our collective psyche."

Eddie Spaghetti continues, "Songs like "Anything Else" and "She Is Leaving" offer up a new side of the Supersuckers while maintaining the consistency of rock-i-tude you've come to expect from the band. "I'm A Fucking Genius" and "Listen Up" sound more like the classic Supersuckers you've come to know and love throughout the years."

"Get It Together, is far and away the most awesome thing we've ever recorded," declares Eddie Spaghetti.
