HELP NEW ORLEANS MUSICIANS THROUGH DIGITAL DOWNLOAD PURCHASE

Easy Online Purchase of Supersuckers In-Store Performance at Whole Foods Market Arabella Station Supports Local Musicians

Last Fall, Whole Foods Market Arabella Station recorded an in-store performance by the Supersuckers to benefit the New Orleans Musicians Clinic, whose mission is the sustain Louisiana’s musicians in body, mind, and spirit by developing access to primary care, preventative health services, as well as social and occupational outreach. The recording is the second New Orleans Musicians Clinic fundraiser collaboration with Whole Foods Market Arabella Station and the Supersuckers. In 2005, the store sold barbeque lunch plates during the Supersuckers in-store while representatives from WWOZ 90.7 FM and WTUL 91.5 FM distributed literature and promotional items.

The Supersuckers digital download may be purchased on their website at http://supersuckers.shop.musictoday.com/Dept.aspx?cp=271_5406 or on iTunes. All proceeds benefit the New Orleans Musicians Clinic, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded by the LSU Healthcare Network, Daughters of Charity Services of New Orleans, and New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation.

Whole Foods Market appreciates the following locals and their companies for their part in making this project possible: Tom Stevens and The Production Trailer for providing the recording and engineering services, Jeff Zielinski for live sound engineering, and Jimmy Glickman with Louisiana Music Exchange for supplying the entire backline complimentary. A big shout out to the Supersuckers for supporting the New Orleans Musicians Clinic and local music industry!
