When I think of Belgrade, kick ass, crazy sweaty off the hook rock show is not the first that come to mind. So when I looked at the itinerary and saw we were playing there I was curious to say the least. you could even say I had some reservations. Passing some bombed out buildings near the club did nothing to boost my confidence. Nonetheless in your hands is the proof that all of my fears were unfounded. It was one of the hottest shows we have ever played (compounded by giant, Soviet era lights they set up for filming) but ended being one of the highlights of the tour. I hope you enjoy this set of us in a brand new place.
Cheers,
Rontrose
The fact of the matter is that even a member short, the Supersuckers can still deliver the goods. The proof is in you hands. Playing as a three piece wasn't exactly in the plan, but sometimes life throws you a curveball. At those times all you can do is say "fuck it" and swing for the fences. Please try to look past the poor menu editing (I put this together in the back of the van) and the poor camera sound quality and instead focus your attention on the serious dose of rock being laid down. Eddie & I had never rocked the three piece before so we knew that doing so would prove challenging. Dusty Watson is definitely the spirit quite on this journey as his sytle lends itself perfectly to the power trio. I honestly do not think we could have done it without him. I must also give props to Brian "Steady Hand" Kaznik for parking himself on the rail of the balcony the whole night & capturing the magic the Ol' Trusty Cannon. I hope you enjoy this rare look at the "Power Trio".

"Afterhours" our ill fated attempt at some movie score action. We recorded this "Sisters of Mercy" song for the soundtrack to "The Gift" and were rejected. I didn't realize how serious they were when they said they wanted some country music. This is easily the most unlike the Suckers we've ever sounded!
"Roamin' 'round" this demo version was recorded with Jesse Dayton on guitar & backing vocals Brian Thomas on dobro and Charlie Sanders on bass. It is the moment I realized that I could make some decent county songs.
"I Don't Wanna Know" Ah technology... this song was recorded entirely in the back of our van into my computer while we were driving. I had to wait 'til we pulled over to do the vocals I closed the doors while everyone took a leak! Remember this is a demo, not the finished product - please be kind.

Every once in a while a song comes along that is so good, so undeniably awesome, so unstoppably brilliant, that it just has to be rocked. “Hey Ya” is one of those songs. If anyone says they don’t like this song, they’re just plain lying! We’ve recorded this little gewl exclusively for you – the fan club members, because we know you’ll understand out love for the odd-ball cover tune.
We’ve also thrown in our very first show featuring Murderburger on the drums. Recorded live at the Crocodile Café in Seattle, it demonstrates what a great addition he was from the get-go.
So enjoy! And let’s see you “shake it like a Polaroid picture…” -Eddie Spaghetti March

Vol 3. (out of print / available here while supplies last!) All right, here is the long awaited, highly anticipated Fan Club CD #3! It’s a radio-rama. Sure, we complain a bit about not being on the radio but it does happen from time to time and here’s the proof. Track 1 is from Houston and a clever fellow down there did some cool things with “Tasty Greens.” The second track is an ad that was on a station in Little Rock for our chicken eating contest. I think it’s pretty funny. The remaining 5 or so tracks are from a live radio appearance we did at KEXP in Seattle on the first day MFBT came out. What’s surprising about it is how well we played at 9:00 in the morning!
Well, I hope you like this stuff and once again thanks for joining the Greatest Fan Club in the World!

Vol 2. (out of print / available here while supplies last!) "Okay, this one needs some 'splainin'. There is a crazy-mixed-up batch of strange things here. There's an interview we did with a fella named Dave Marsh at WHFS in D.C. where I do a semi-crappy acoustic 'I want the Drugs'. Then it's Rontrose and I at a place called the 'Barge Inn' doing Ween's 'Piss Up a Rope'. A song we call 'Bad Religion' is next - it was recorded on the first day of our tour with them. I can't remember what happened, but we weren't too thrilled with it, whatever it was. 'Hound Dog' is me with some friends at an all Elvis Show we did - the whole show sounds great! And we cap it off with Steve Earle's 'I Don't Wanna Lose You Yet' that we recorded in Austin for a Holland radio show and features Metal Marty Chandler and Clay Bartlett helping us out on guitar and bass. The intro was done at four in the morning after some serious drinking."
