We here at Supersuckers Industries are proud to announce the long awaited, long overdue release of our new record, Get It Together! That's right the time has finally come for you to bask in the glow and the glory of our rock and roll majesty once again. Teaming up with the incomparable Mr. Billy Joe Bowers again, the band has never sounded so good. Add to the mix the incredible drumming skills of one Scott "Scottzilla" Churilla and you've got yourself quite the potent operation. Once again recorded at the fabulous Robert Lang Studios in Seattle, WA the songs sound so good, so incredibly tight that even we are amazed by our accomplishment. Pride mixes with astonishment as we listen back to this masterpiece!

A Benefit for the New Orleans Musicians Clinic
"Where are we playing?"
"Whole Foods? The grocery store?"
Yes, that was the line of questioning that preceded this event. We did indeed play out in front of the Whole Foods store in New Orleans. It was hot, muggy and all kinds of fun and we dragged out the recording gear to capture the moment. Which we did. Sort of. Due to a technical glitch of some sort, only four songs were salvageable, but here they are for your enjoyment. The proceeds from these recordings will go directly to the New Orleans Musicians Clinic to help out fellow musicians in New Orleans who fell on hard times after Katrina hit. It's a good cause and a decent recording as well, featuring the talents of Jordan Shapiro on pedal steel and the bass playing debut of Dan "Thunder" Bolton as well as the standard, stellar guitar playing of Rontrose Heathman and the amazing Scottzilla Churilla on drums (and me on acoustic guitar). I hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed doing it!
-Eddie Spaghetti
Thanks go out to Tom Stevens with The Production Trailer for providing the recording and engineering and Jimmy Glickman with Louisiana Music Exchange for supplying the entire backline complimentary. A big shout out to the Supersuckers for supporting the New Orleans Musicians Clinic and local music industry! Special thanks to Kristina Bradford and all the folks at Whole Foods.

I remember not knowing what we were gonna do. I remember running late. I remember barely pulling it together and then I remember walking away from it all, victorious once again. That's just how it is on the road with the rolling basket case that is the Supersuckers. Still, it's pretty easy (when you've been doing it as long as we have) to get a good show going at the last minute. Chances are that the mistakes will fly by and the people there will only remember the good stuff. Memories are usually pretty forgiving that way, it seems like folks really only want to remember good things. Bad memories tend to just clutter up the already full minds of the peoples. But getting a good RECORDING of a show? Well, well, well... let me tell you that that is a whole different kind of surprise right there. So it was real nice to get these tapes from Scott Lawler at Bart's CD's in Boulder and hear that we were having a good, loose time playing some spirited country music for the 30 or so people who were able to make it out that afternoon. In addition to Neil Truglio and the good folks at Bart's (including Bart himself, of course) I'd like to thank Danny Bland for the bass playing and Jordan Shapiro for the pedal steel playing that helped us Supersuckers (me, Thunder and Rontrose) pull another rabbit out of our ass.
Enjoy,
Eddie Spaghetti

Have you ever felt so proud of something you've done that you just can't quite wrap your brain around the fact that you actually did it? I hope so because it's a pretty great feeling. These songs are the start of what I like to call the "fully realized" Supersuckers and I'm thinkin' that you will look at us in a whole new way after hearing this rock that we've laid down here. This is as good as we've ever been and, thanks to the help of our long-time friend, Mr. Billy Joe Bowers, it's the best sounding recording we've ever made.
This E.P. represents the start of a bigger project that will culminate in an album in the not so distant future. We plan on putting out two or three of these little gems and then collect the main songs from them to put together a full length record that will feature new, previously unreleased songs as well. It's like they used to do in the fifties. First came the single, then the E.P. or "extended play" and then the L.P., the "long player" and that is what we want to model this project after. With the ways that folks are getting their music changing so fast, it's a great time for a band like The Supersuckers to re-think the way we deliver it. I like my records, but I'm not afraid of change. Are you? I hope you enjoy our rock, regardless of what format happens to be bringing it to your discerning ear hole.
Thanks for choosing quality.
Rock on and be Awesome,
Eddie Spaghetti, 2006

Where is all the good music today? Is it all funny haircuts and sideways hats, matching outfits and fake anger now? No it's not! Along comes little old me once again to save the day - good tunes and good playing, put together all nice and easy like - another timeless classic that you'll keep coming back to for years to come.
Am I bragging?
Well, see for yourself and then you can let me know. Because here it is, Old No. 2 pulling into the station! Once again no lofty, "I'm-a-frustrated-artiste" crapola here, just some more simple music from a simple guy, simply done. Hell, it's all going into the Supersuckers bin anyway! I made up a few more of my own this time around and I managed to persuade the incredible Mr. Jordan Shapiro to come up to Seattle and put some tasty licks on this thing. Murderburger returns and he got to spend a little more time putting those shaky, jingly, knock-knock-knocky things on because we splurged and spent a whole extra day in the studio! That's right, we took four whole days to deliver the goods and I think you'll agree that it was time well spent. There's a few nice surprises, too!
So pop this masterpiece in, kick back and put your other records away. You won't be needing them for awhile.

So, to all the die-hards out there who have spent the money and time to get all of these songs the hard way, sorry. We did put some things on here that have never seen the light of day until now and I hope that helps make up for our shameless capitalism. But to all you lucky folks who haven't heard these songs before (and let's face it, there are way more of you), congratulations! It's a brand new Supersuckers record for you to love and, since you're free from the burden of collect-ability, you can kick back and enjoy the majesty of this mass-produced, unlimited edition digital reproduction while we finish off our new, "real" record. We hope this shortens the wait.

On a cold crappy night in Seattle, we brought the spirit of the desert to The Tractor Tavern. The odds were pretty much against us releasing anything from this show because, when it gets shitty outside here in the Northwest, we get shitty inside. The drinks get to flowin' and the performance can sometimes get to suckin'. Add to that the fact that we hadn't really been playing much country leading up to this show and you've got yourself a recipe for failure.
Well, you can imagine our surprise then when the tapes came back and there was actually some fun, spirited and not so terrible playing on there. We keep working on our country set, adding and embellishing and what-not, so here's a little sampler of some of the things we did that night that haven't been put out there, LIVE, until now.
I hope you like it, we're still kind of a "rock band that plays country" but, given the current state of "real" country, I'd say that's still better than most. Welcome to Volume One of the Mid-Fi Field Recordings series.

The Supersuckers will release Motherfuckers Be Trippin', the follow-up to 2000's The Evil Powers of Rock and Roll, on April 22nd on their own label Mid-Fi Records.
As for the sound of the record, don't expect many changes: "We endeavor to remain as remedial as possible," frontman Eddie Spaghetti said. "My favorite bands are AC/DC, the Ramones and Motorhead, and these are the kind of bands that put out the same record every year. For better or for worse, that's what I like."
The record was recorded in Seattle with the band's live sound engineer David Fisher, who worked on past Supersuckers' albums Must've Been High and Evil Powers of Rock 'n Roll.
Among the songs on the album is the aptly titled, "Rock-N-Roll Records (Ain't Selling This Year)," which Spaghetti has pegged as a "future classic" along with "Rock Your Ass." "Both are examples of our 'everything but the kitchen sink' rock craftsmanship," Spagetti said.

Eddie Spaghetti, lead singer and bass player for legendary rock-n-roll band The Supersuckers, has up and done it: the accursed solo record ("ugh...solo records are so lame!"), titled, The Sauce. That's right, the irreverent, witty, wise-cracking bastard child of Roger Miller is here to take the piss out of this whole "look-at-me- I’m-an-important-artiste" scene with a record full of his favorite songs. Loose, fun and easy to swallow, The Sauce spans seven decades of songwriting and showcases Spaghetti's impeccable song choices and uncanny ability to sing the drinking songs for drinkers who like to drink the drinks.

A return to rock-n-roll glory, this is the record we always wanted to make. Mostly recorded live in the studio while we threw a party, it seemed like we finally found the way to do it. Produced by Kurt Bloch, it's so good that we¹re tempted to just quit while we're ahead, but we just aren't done mining that rock yet!.

Honest. Pure. Simple. These are the qualities that attracted us to punk rock. The fact that the four of us, or any other bunch of like-minded jackasses for that matter, could get up on a stage and rock out is remarkably appealing. And it has been our search for the best that rock-n-roll has to offer which inevitably led us down the road that old dirt road to the country. Simple, (there's that word again) three-chord songs, sung from experience, played on an old, beat up acoustic guitar - that's what we're talkin' about here. We're no virtuosos, but we had a damn good time makin' this record and we're hoping you have a damn good time listening to it. We Must've Been High...
-The Supersuckers
"The Legacy Of Confusion continues and the title says it all. Ron returned all ready to rock the nation again and what do we do? We make a country record, of course! A bold move for sure and at first it seemed as though we just might have lost all of our fans, but now this is one of our most popular and sought after records. Recorded in Seattle and Austin by Randall Jamail it features cameos by Kelley Deal of the Breeders, former Dwight Yoakam fiddle player Brantley Kearns, Jesse Dayton and his steel playin, banjo-pluckin' virtuoso Brian Thomas and Mr. Willie Nelson of, well, Willie Nelson. We worked our asses off to show people that when country and rock are done well, they are very similar. Honest, simple, and somewhat remedial, that's how we like it and you will too."
- Eddie Spaghetti
Technical Information - This particular recording remained in the analog until it was mastered for Compact Disc. Ten microphones were used to record the entire album, all Neumann tube microphones (U67, U47 and U149) except for a pair of Neumann stereo condensor microphones used as overhead mics on the drums. All of the effects that you hear on this record were created with live chambers, plate reverbs and analog tape slap delay.

This is where 'The Supersuckers' Legacy Of Confusion' begins. Following the abrupt (and, thankfully, temporary) departure of Ron Heathman, we grabbed up ex-Didjit leader Mr. Rick Sims and went straight into an Austin, Texas studio to record with Paul Leary from the Butthole Surfers. We had a good time and we couldn¹t have done it without Rick, but it sure did feel weird without Ron there. Some of our most memorable songs, including the show-stopping Born With A Tail make this a must have.

The great record with the stupid title. Untill recently this was considered to be our finest hour (or 28 minutes, really). Our first 'real' record! By that I mean it was the first time we ever went into a recording studio knowing that we were going to make a full-on record. Recorded and mixed in three days in the same studio that Nirvana recorded 'Bleach', it still stands up as our announcement to the rock world that we have arrived. Hats' off to Jack Endino for making sense of what we were doing. A bunch of shit-ass kids with some great songs and some lousy equipment.
